About David

David was born and raised in Denver, Colorado.  Being one of the few natives left, he loves to be in the outdoors.  Hiking, skiing, and wildlife watching are few of his past time events.  David’s passion has always been to help people.  He started counseling after receiving his Masters Degree in Counseling and Guidance from University of Colorado in Denver in 1988 at a wonderful place called Denver Children’s Home.  David spent 10 years at this program where he went from being a counselor to the supervising counselor of the day treatment program.

He went on from there to design a counseling program for Humanex Academy.  He spent 16 years at Humanex and helped many students reach their dreams.  David specializes in helping people transition through hard changes in their lives.  He is an expert in empowering people to make changes through internalizing their behavior.

On a side note, David has coached sport teams since he was 16 years old.  He has a knack for helping players develop their skills and go on to the next levels of playing ball.  Finally, David has a wonderful family who has helped support him in all the activities he has been involved in.
